The short version
InvoiceKit runs entirely in your browser. Your invoice details are typed into the page, rendered on your screen, and saved only in your own browser's local storage. Nothing you type is ever uploaded to us — we couldn't see your invoices if we wanted to.
What we collect
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to count page views and see which tools are useful. Google may set cookies and collect anonymized usage data (pages visited, approximate location, browser type). You can block this with any ad blocker or Do Not Track settings.
- Server logs: our host (Cloudflare) keeps standard web-server logs for security and abuse prevention. These contain technical data (IP address, user agent), not your invoice contents.
What we never do
- We never receive, store, or process your invoice data, client names, or amounts.
- We have no accounts, so we have no passwords or emails to leak.
- We don't sell data — there's no data to sell.
Clearing your data
Your draft lives in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data (or using the "New invoice" button) removes it. We have no copy.
Disclaimer
InvoiceKit provides general-purpose document templates. They are not legal, accounting, or tax advice, and InvoiceKit is not a party to any transaction you invoice. Invoice rules (required fields, VAT/GST numbers, e-invoicing mandates) differ by country — for anything consequential, check your local requirements or ask a professional.
